It Started in a School Tiffin Box
It started with a simple realization: most snacks aren't quite what they seem. When I looked for wholesome options for my daughter's school tiffin box, I wanted a snack that was as pure as a home-cooked meal, but with the 'crave-able' crunch that kids love.
I went back to my South Indian roots and chose the gold standard: 100% organic refined coconut oil. We specifically use organic refined coconut oil because the refining process filters the oil to its purest form, making it exceptionally heat-stable. Unlike standard cooking oils that easily oxidize under high heat, our coconut oil stays stable while kettle-cooking to lock in a clean, golden crunch. Combined with hand-selected green plantains and a pinch of premium Himalayan pink salt, I created a chip that was so good, my daughter's friends started 'borrowing' them every day at recess.
